About Lori

Lori Tussey develops website and print graphics, which explain technical air pollution topics to the general public. She also develops educational websites and materials for kindergarten, elementary, middle grade and high school students.

She graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After working as an Environmental Engineer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for seven years, she returned to North Carolina State University where she received a B.A. from the School of Design.

She is an engineer with 20+ years experience at the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA). In addition to developing educational websites and publications for children, she illustrated and co-authored WHY IS COCO ORANGE? (U.S. EPA, 2010).
