I write and develop graphics for children's books, promotional materials and websites. I am a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and The Graphic Artist Guild.
I graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After working as an Environmental Engineer for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for seven years, I returned to North Carolina State University where I received a B.A. from the School of Design.
I continued working for the U. S. EPA for 30+ years. In addition to developing educational websites and publications for children, I illustrated and co-authored WHY IS COCO ORANGE? (U.S. EPA, 2010).
